What started as a modest, one-day fundraiser at Florida International University (FIU) in 1997 has grown into one of America's largest gastronomic gatherings, drawing food enthusiasts from all over the globe.

Over the past quarter-century, SOBEWFF has evolved dramatically. Initial attendance of just 7,000 has expanded into a vibrant event that attracts more than 65,000 attendees annually. To date, it has raised over $45 million, directly funding scholarships and hands-on training for hospitality students at FIU's Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.
